If you are a Balance and Composure fan I please ask that you read this. Okay so I’ve listened to seperation a good amount of times now and it’s all starting to come together. The whole album is about separating, hence the name but it’s more than one kind of separation. It’s separating himself from who he used to be but it also involves another character. A girl. The girl you see on the front of the album cover in the dress. Lets take a look at the artwork for Separation and the acoustic album.
You’ll notice that each have some big differences. One is a figure in a dress who is clearly a girl, who has a sun for her head. The other is a guy in a tuxedo but instead of a girl, he is a guy, and instead of a sun he has a moon on his head. He also has wings. He is also carrying someone, and who do you think that someone is? well it’s the girl in the dress of course, but this time the sun on her head is out.
